Your data is safe in idgard’s data centers – because we have our own servers in the data centers that are reserved exclusively for us. Maximum security
A large number of precautions in our data centers ensure maximum security for your data: from hermetic perimeter protection, a multi-level security concept and strict monitoring of the security zones, to round-the-clock monitoring of the site by a specially trained security service and increased standards in terms of construction and personnel.
Data storage in Germany
The operation and storage of data takes place exclusively in Germany, and the staff involved are certified. This also ensures the maximum security of your data.
Housing not hosting
We operate our own servers in the data centers, on which only idgard is located and no other services or services from other providers – this is also referred to as server housing in contrast to classic hosting, where several services or services from different providers run on one server stack. This approach makes it impossible to run malware or exploit processor vulnerabilities.
Maximum availability
An extremely complex concept ensures the complete and spatially separated redundancy and maintenance of all key supply routes of the idgard data centers. This in turn enables maximum availability of the data centers.

Thanks to state-of-the-art, energy-efficient technology, idgard data centers are flexibly scalable. This means that we are also well equipped for your future requirements and can grow with you.
Focus on climate neutrality
The idgard data centers are part of the “Climate neutrality for data centers” initiative founded in 2021. Its main goal is to become climate neutral by 2030 at the latest. The data center operators are thus setting themselves more ambitious goals and standards than those required by law. The targets include, among other things

Sustainability
Ecological responsibility is also a top priority at the idgard data centers. This is why they purchase electricity from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, water and biogas.
Energy efficiency
The idgard data centers meet the high requirements of the CMS standard 83 “Certification of the generation of electricity from renewable energies (generation EE)” of the technical inspection associations (TÜV). For example, energy-saving cooling systems based on the indirect use of outside air ensure energy efficiency.
